I'm rather disappointed with the way in which the media coverage of this torrid affair has dropped right off.
In Amnesty International they tell us that we write letters to governments such as Burma to remind them that the world is watching.
As it pertains to Burma, I'm sad to say that the world is watching. And even if we were to write them to insist that the world is watching, I don't think the Burmese government would care even if that was the case.
The world is watching... it's just not doing anything.
We're really good at being bystanders and twiddling our thumbs. Unfortunately the only thing most of us can do is try to spread awareness.
